i read that the assassain is supposed to be in verdistis up by the burned down house....but he wasn't there and after talking to the man in the merchants guild building.....he had assassains attack me and he left and i can't find help or solve that quest

Look into the cupboard in that room, SW side.

once you corner him down below, he sets up a meeting with that assassain in the burned down house. That's probably why you didn't meet him there.

thanks...alot...i've beat it as a warrior and know i'm going back through as a survivor and mainly using a bow...but this time i'll get that assassin
