Hey, been watching a few videos and like the look of this game. I was wondering, did it have similar replay value like Diablo - and most importantly, using the same character (and not starting a new one) or would I have to start a fresh character if I wanted to up the difficulty?

Thanks for your time, I look forward to playing this game!

IMNSHO it has better replay value than Diablo. I didn't finish either Diablo 1 (got interrupted for awhile and just never went back to it) or 2 (got bored with the straight hack and slash).

You can change the difficulty setting during a game, but opponents do not respawn, and you can not start a new game with the same character. The quest design is better than Diablo (few straight hunt and fetch quests, a couple have multiple solutions), as is the world interaction (you can move furniture around and stuff stays where you put it; collect chests to store your loot wherever you want, or safely leave it on the ground), dialog, atmosphere, etc.

Thanks! That's a bit of a shame, I really like sticking with my character, but the game looks good, and I've made the purchase! laugh

What I love about this game is the it feels similar to Skyrim. You spotted an abandoned house and you make it your own, then after a while you start decorating it. No mods of course but I love a game where the developers gives you freedom to just own a house.

A lot of game don't include house furnishing feature which is a shame.
