i can see trap door in room on north east side of the guild but i can not get the door opened. used one key to open a chest. have killed all of yarun's bad guys

via the southwest cupboard. sure could use a hint two thanks

Have you joined the guild yet?
The assassin's guild has nothing to do with it, btw. Look arround the cupboards and such. Don't foget the nearest desk to the trapdoor itsels. I think the key's in the same room as the trapdoor, or just go look arround the guildmaster.

you have to join the merchants guild before you can go into the cellar.
