Larian Studios Forums Dragon Commander Dragon Commander - Beta Beta experience - Minor interface bugs noticed

Hi guys,

This is post the 1.5 GB patch. I'm at 1920x1080 Ultra.

1) Minor tweaks required:
- Main Menu -> Options -> Controls -> Combat Phase -> "Command Hold Position Selected Unit" text does not fit inside the column allocated for this text
- Main Menu -> Options -> Controls -> Combat Phase -> "IE_Overview toggle" -> this text does not tell me anything (suggest info blurbs for some Options?)
- Main Menu -> Options -> Controls -> Combat Phase -> Last option I am seeing is "Select all shipyards v", however I know there is at least another one line below that, but I can't scroll down. Please fix.
- Main Menu -> Options -> Controls -> Dragon Phase -> Last option I am seeing is "Last selected F1", as above I know there is at least another line below that, but I can't scroll down and see what it is.
- Main Menu -> Options -> Graphics -> Last option I am seeing is "Bloom [x]" - again pretty sure that there might be an option I am not seeing below that
- Clicking Main Menu --> Credits --> shows loading gears at the bottom and that is all - i.e. there is no indication of progress.
Pressing "Esc" returns me back to the Main Menu, which is OK. But I did wait for a minute thinking I'd get sent somewhere.


2) Suggestion:
Can you please consider refining the gears into indicators of some sort (gears getting covered in blood or oil to show that something is happening?)

3) Previous experience, prior to the 1.5GB patch:
I hosted a LAN game - because I am trying this out against AI, anyway - the speed of connection felt really slow. Is the game actively trying to connect to Steam for a LAN game? This is why I though it'd be important to note that I'm in Aus. Any confirmation you can give in regard to whether this will be an issue at release for Asia-Pacific?

Oh yeah, along those lines, if you have more than 8 units researched on the Campaign map, you can only see 8 in the "Buy Units" interface because once again, the scroll bars aren't working properly, it doesn't fit.

Also, dragging and dropping Dragon skills onto the skill bar is annoying because the boxes for where the skills need to be dropped don't line up well at all with where it looks like you need to drop them, making dragging and dropping a hassle that takes a lot longer fumbling around than it should.

could you provide a screenshot or way to repro, because on the current beta version it seems fine when having more than 8 units researched ?

I'll see if it's still there. It might have been fixed in the 1.5 GB patch, because in the most recent campaign I played against the AI, I don't recall seeing that issue. I'll check again.

Even after the big patch prior to the weekend, I had trouble building devastators, as the list would not scroll down low enough to produce them on the strategy map.

The bug I was experiencing was in War Factories. I just played a quick campaign versus the AI, and I researched all the units, and was unable to reproduce the bug, I saw all the available units to produce.
