First off I'd like to say I was thrilled to play this game and I enjoyed my first few hours in the skirmish and campaign modes. I love the graphical style, the campaign map is gorgeous and very well crafted and I like the features it has in it. The playable maps are very good and balanced for both sides (in my opinion) and I love the recruit system and the fast paced action and diversity of units. And of course, the dragon combat and control of units from it is fairly easy, accessible, and extremely entertaining.

Now a few suggestions that I'd like to put forth.
1. I see the comical feel that was put on the voices of many of the units but the consistency and repetition of their voices gets on my nerves after a while. I really find them hilarious (in a good way) but I have to draw the line after the 100th time I hear "Oh Shut Up". This has been said before but I'm going to reinforce the issue, either change the voices or tone down the amount of times they say their lines.
2. Just a minor thing and a personal preference, could the ui perhaps organize the units by type when selecting multiple troops? I noticed that it just puts them together in a big mess and it's a little troublesome.
3. I noticed the ai just spams Hunters in my campaign against a medium ai. I don't know if that's just because of the ai difficulty but I think the ai should produce a balance of units.

Anyway, just my two cents that I wanted to put in from my first two hours in the game. As you can see from above, I do love the game and I will be playing it more, I just wanted to give my honest opinion and feedback. Keep up the good work Larian Studios!

It may not be exactly what you are looking for, but you can group units by type, or if multiple units are selected, hit TAB to cycle through the different available units' abilities. Check out page 20 of the manual, 'Selecting Units and Movement of Units'.

There have been a couple comments recently that hunters are fast and have good firepower, so are well suited to taking over building sites. With the current balancing it doesn't seem unreasonable that the AI would at least start off with lots of hunters (though if just focusing on hunters throughout the fight is a good strategy, that would be a balancing issue).

The hunter is good against infantry units, but the real trouble comes from how good it seems to be against air units. The Campaign AI makes a point of researching its anti-air capability really soon. Hunters are cheap, fast, and while this requires some experiments, it seems to me that they kill the Dragon easily, and they're hard for the Dragon to kill.
