From my minimal PvP experience, Dragon vs dragon is very.... meh. It really isn't worth it. You both just jetback around like ninnies and get nothing done. You are way to agile to make a 'dogfight' a practical endeavor. Maaaaaybe you or he dies and lose the minimal 20 resources and instantly repawn. Or, with the same effort, beat down their army and take their base. If you die, you still instantly re-spawn, but it's all about protecting your armies and dismantling theirs. And chasing around a dragon than can morph in and out instantly and anywhere (the 'enemies' nearby restriction is such a narrow little range that it takes effort to not be able to morph back.) and instantly respawn with 0 cooldown is silly. Die protecting your assets, respawn, protect your assests.
I find it infinitely more useful to just attack units and spastistically/randomly strafe jetpacking and another dragon can't hurt you and you never run out of jetpack fuel. And use unit buff roars and enemy unit paralysis/sabotage roars. It's generally easier to just heal your units and yourself as enemy dragons can't really hurt you nor your units that you are babysitting. If they are built to kill dragons like the mountain, laugh. You are expendable. Your units are not.
