From what I have seen there doesn't seem to be any magic in the game. There was maybe the mage/scholar on the campaign base. Do you think that magic wont play much of a role in this divinity or may they release it in a later expansion (if they make any expansions)

Do you mean other than dragon skills (attack, buff, debuff) and unit abilities (heal, cloak, paralyse, teleport, etc)?

While I see that the dragon skills are magical but most of the unit abilities are technological based.

I will allow you to explain how the Warlock's rain of fire and meet the beetles is tech-based.

Also, it would not be too much of a stretch to think that the apparent pseudo-magic we see in the game is actually a mage or several that focus/amplify their magic through devices.

Although, just as well, one could think that with this demonic technology also comes the ability to store a spell and replicate it. But it still involves magic.


Unless otherwise specified, just an opinion or simple curiosity.
