I believe I did everything in maxos temple. Stuck at the final teleport where Damien greets you then disappears. The teleport looks active with the blue haze, but I go no where. Can someone help?

Before Damian left did he summon a couple henchmen? Defeating them is what activates the teleporter. Unfortunately, a couple people have run into a glitch where they don't get summoned.

If you have a recent save before encountering Damian you can try reloading and see if it helps (probably won't).

If you are playing DKS, you can email the save to support@larian.com, so they can enable the teleporter.
If you have D2:DC you can load the save in the Developer Mode version of the game, hit F11 to bring up the cheat window, and teleport to where you would have ended up (use the 'goto' coordinates X = 130, Y = -152, Z = -25).

BTW, your first encounter in that new location you can mindread to go up a level, so the higher level you are (I made it to 22 in the fjords) the more of an experience bonus that will be. You don't need to get to a high level, but it would be better if you got to a new level before entering, to get a full level bonus (equip anything you have with a Wisdom boost).

The interesting thing is when you look at the map, the door to the sentinel is open in an inaccessible room. but the objective markers, two of them are place, on the teleport and the second is on the what says the blood alter, but is more positioned between the two smoldering rocks. I grabbed the item that was between the rocks and the book from the alter. Damien never brought any Hench men. He just took off.

Ok, I have quit a few stages where I saved. I don't think I have that DK, I have UDK. But I have D2,
Dragon Knight Saga. Unless I am misunderstanding you. How far back should I go in save levels. Right now I am level 21.

I'm not sure when or how this bug is triggered, so I don't know when you would need to revert back to to have a good chance of avoiding it again. Personally I would try reloading if you have a save where you would only need to redo about 10 or 15 minutes of gameplay, but there is no guarantee that going back farther and replaying an hour or two, for example, would help.

When the Divinity Anthology was released it included an updated version of Divinity 2: the Dragon Knight Saga (DKS), called Divinity 2: Developer's Cut (D2:DC). Some digital distributors updated everyone that had previous versions of Divinity 2 to have D2:DC automatically. For other places, or retail versions of the game, Larian offered a free download version from the Larian Vault (see here for details).

Support wouldn't get back to you until next week, but if you did get the upgrade you would be able to continue with your existing save.

Thanx for you helpful answers. I went back to the entrance of the temple and did the whole temple seen again and same thing, Damian is waiting, says it ends here now, leaves, no goons, and I'm left there holding my demon-wacker. I bought the dvd, so did not use steam to install. I use steam for my doom 3. I guess I would like to try the developer cut, but I do not want to buy it again. If I have the dvd and PK, can I use steam? Anyway, I feel like I have wasted countless hrs and am still in broken Valley.

You do not need to buy the Developer's Cut version of the game if you bought the PC DVD version of DKS. If you contact support with proof of purchase (either the registration key, if included, or a personalized picture of the back of the box/case, with the barcode clearly visible, and some form of personal reference on the picture), they will give you a voucher code to get the Developer's Cut version from Larian's own store. That will give you a DRM free download of the full game.

There is no way to register the retail version of DKS on Steam.
