I found this game in the bargain bin and decided that it was so cheap it didnt matter if it was shite.
As it turns out its not to bad at all. Its fairly mindless really, but very addictive (Most of you will have experienced this before). It plays a little like diablo but with a futuristic setting. You run about with the keyboard, and direct the crosshair with your mouse to blow away the enemy. The game is from an isometric point of view and the graphics are quite well done, even though this is an older game, It still stands up well.
You fight enemies and collect resourses to build new and better weapons with your spacehips replicator. The plot is kind of simple but its well paced and the action is frenetic.
All in all it was a nice surprise. No DD ,but then I didnt pay $80 for it. If you see it cheap, check it out.

I can understand that, I guess if I had payed full price I would feel ripped off. As it is I payed a pittance for a full game and I dont feel too bad. Its playable and addictive. Ive almost solved it after 10 hours and had fun, considering that works out to about 10 cents an hour for entertainment, its not so bad For the price I payed I didnt expect the holy grail

I managed to find it for $67 in Australia, at Electronics Boutique. For a chain store, they're surprisingly cheep. Everywhere else it was about $80 though. Computer games are expensive here. New releases are generally $90, budget games are $60, and five-year old games are $20-$30.
I've tried shopping on-line. After shipping costs and exchange rates, it's not cheeper. You do get it earlier sometimes, though.
