I have seen the released portion of the game being played to completion by several different individuals, and have seen the characters interact with each other and the player in the way that the game portrays them. I have seen more or less
all that you can see of the characters at this point in the game, with the exception of Oberon as I have pointed out. (Which is why I chose to reserve judgement of him, as I said above.)
This is no knee-jerk reaction based on very little info. I have seen several full play-throughs- worth of interaction between these characters, and have based my opinion of them from this. Just like what some of you did when you said that you liked them.

Your comments are uncalled for and an insult to yourself. You logged on to make one forum post only to make judgmental conjectures based on some deranged outlook of yours on how people should be. The people you are referring to are characters in a story, they have been used in such ways as to progress said story and so long as it is to artistic ends then the story makers are not at fault.
In short, calling most of the ambassadors assholes and the rest of the characters dumbasses really only reflects both statements upon your person. If you had any sense you would apologies to this community for your rudeness.

Haha, I tend to agree, but didn't Swen allude that if you play only to your heart and tick off some factions severely that the game will be significantly harder than someone that balances things to keep everyone happy?
This is precisely what I fear.
