First of all, Hi there!

What i was hoping for to be implemented with the last update, was when you double click a unit only the units you see in the screen will be selected. Im really used to it from other games.

I think there is no benefit from selecting all units on the map with a double click, or maybe i'm missing something?

That has been suggested a few times. I'm not sure if it is on the to-do list, though (should be, IMNSHO), or where it is listed if it is.

I agree, it's a pain having to tab through all of your currently selected units when you have a good mix of forces. I also agree I have never felt the need to select all units on the map of a type while the ability to select all of that type on screen would be greatly appreciated. I don't know how hard that would be to code though and it's not the highest priority IMO. Maybe if it's easy to code I would love to see it soon.

I'm going to echo this NSHO.

Yeah, only "all units of X type on screen" would be better than "all units of X type on map", I do hope that gets tweaked.
