Anyone know of a way to do this in the sp campaign? Im getting tired of loosing units and battles cause the auto resolve is bad.

Did you get some negative 20 luck and near 0 relations with the undead by the last chapter? That was annoying, but mustard gas + dragon = win against anything. And thank god for the lizard's racial bonus, or else I wouldn't have had any units taking that blasted capital. [/tangential rant]

Normal (as in, no modifiers applied) is fairly well balanced for an AI vs AI duel. It may come down to how you pick your fights and how many fights you pick each turn to keep battles in regions you have poor popularity as few as possible.

For being able to select only one fight to tackle in RTS is a design feature.

Unless otherwise specified, just an opinion or simple curiosity.

Well, it sorta reminds me of Total War ship battles. Even tho i had 5 Juggernaughts against his 1-2 ironclad i still Loose atleast 1. When i play that isnt even possible and its just a Waste of resources even if i dont Loose the battle. Frankly its just putting me off, i wanna play but being forced to auto resolve just isnt fun to me.

Ironclads are specific counters for Juggernauts, especially if they have the "On Guard" skill researched, which can completely neutralize incoming fire.

Yeah, but that doesnt really matter in this case. Normally if i play with an overpowering force, i wont Loose anything, where as the auto resolve will Loose, sometimes silly amounts. Even if they counter my units, loosing em cause of that just annoys me.
