I've started playing chapter 2 in the campaign and started expanding using transports. Few turns pass and I come to unpleasant surprise - when moving transport from land to land, if sea tile happens to contain enemy Ironclad unit I'm forced into combat. Moreover, if I win the transport remains on sea tile, wasting movement point.

Is this intended? For one thing, this is inconsistent with land movement - hunters can skip enemy territories with units. Second, it wastes transport movement. Third, it makes transports functionally useless because every other sea tile has Ironclad or Juggernaut.

If it is really intended, then could devs at least make surviving transports finish their movement?

Hunters shouldn't be able to skip enemy territories with units.

My suggestion is to make a few Ironclads to escort the Transports so you can stand a chance when autoresolving a battle.
