I'm very impressed with the game so far. I love daring developers trying to mix strategy with RPG and action and it looks like you pulled this off wonderfully in many regards, but there's one thing I feel is a bit missing:

A hotkey to release the mouse pointer in dragon mode.

I've only played the tutorial yet (+ peeked into the campaign interface) so please correct me if there already is a feature like this, but in some flight and space simulators there was a hotkey you could press to switch the mouse from aiming/camera controlling device (which it currently is in dragon mode) to a mouse pointer (like it is in RTS mode).

This should hold the camera in place while giving the player mouse access to the interface.

For example in X3 (a space sim) there was a flight mode where the mouse normally controlled the camera/aiming crosshair, but if you held down a key like Alt or Shift, the mouse switched to pointer mode and you could click on interface buttons, check tooltips, etc. until you released the hotkey.

I realize this would render pure (dragonless) RTS mode a lot less attractive since there would be little to no control accessibility advantage to it over simply switching to the mouse pointer from within dragon mode, but if the control limitations in the latter were intentional, you could limit the dragon mode mouse pointer's interaction to just the interface (so you can't select/control units).

The ability to access the interface from dragon mode could still be useful for checking the tooltips of the dragon abilities for instance, which actually was my primary reason for wishing I could somehow use a mouse pointer as a dragon. smile

But to be honest, being able to mouse-control my units from dragon mode would be quite convenient as well and pretty fitting the "dragon commander" concept so I think both possible implementations are worth considering.
