Though possible idea for DLC is this for me.

Alternate ending campaign. Its a single player story campaign taking part after the events of the main campaign.

We say screw you Maxos were keeping all the technology we've accumulated and bringing Rivilon into a golden age. This will lead to another chapter where your fighting against Maxos loyalist forces (cause by the campaigns end you've probably teched out fully) for control of Rivilon.

Course this would be entirely non-canon but I kinda wanted there to be some more argument and conflict regarding the dismantling of all technology basically across the land. I mean this would completely change the world not only technologically but culturally as well. You would be ruining countless lives by this transition.

I mean the closing of the textile mills in my native South Carolina devastated a generation financially and changed the landscape for countless people how they lived etc. Now multiply that several thousand times and you would get what happened to Rivilion.

This would include what you see in the Elven princess arch agriculture and all sectors of industry meaning countless people would become unemployed and need retraining into new jobs. Not to mention rampant starvation due to less productive methods of food production being used.

What maxos suggested was a fundamentally radical direction to take the world just as much as it was for him to initially plan to conquer the entire world. Massive groups of people would be opposed to it and would try to fight against it any way they could.

Think about Henry for gods sake. Maxos plans literally have him ripping out his arm and eye and saying "Go live a peaceful life. Demon Technology be gone from you! it is a vile thing despite it was the single thing that enabled you not to become a broken discarded soldier after your injuries. That would likely ended with you killing yourself leaving your daughter to be an orphan".

That said given Maxos is an incredibly powerful wizard maybe he could get a unique general unit ingame in the campagin that basically is like an extremely powerful Warlock.

Can cloak himself, can polymorph multiple units at once after cool down (like maybe 5 cooldown probably same or greater than Warlock), has a shield ability and healing plus teleportation. Main weaknesse would be slow movement speed (he has no jetpack :P) and his protection could be scripted leaving him with relatively low health?

Maybe its just me but I truly felt Maxos was a man with good intentions but what he proposed on doing was truly wrong none-less.
