It wasn't really that hard, either. Is this intentional, or did I just choose a good map, or am I really that great a player (unlikely)?


Or I also have to set the game difficulty to Hard somewhere as well?

It's pretty normal because the AI doesn't summon dragons . You'll be enjoying fighting against three AI insane though. Also, the map could be the reason. Your map lacks naval warfare.

I can usually own the AI on normal on land maps, but naval maps change everything. Juggling land, sea and air with DC's pacing more often than not leaves me weeping in the corner.

In skirmish battles?
Use grouping.

In RTS mode select 1 or more units and hit Crtl and a number to assign them to a control group, then you can select that group by hitting 1-9 or 0 (and if there are more than one unit type in a group you can hit Tab to cycle through their abilities). In dragon form you can select control groups using Alt + number (and if there is a building in the control group you can use hotkeys to build more units).
