I've backed the Kickstarter for D:OS and added the Dragon Commander addon to my pledge. Now I've also got the Imperial Edition Addon, but apparently for GOG.com users, you have to download a separate file from the vault, while on GOG.com it's also available as DLC.

Now I've got a lot of games on GOG.com (no Steam account), so my question is why we don't just get to redeem a code on GOG.com for the "DLC" part? I know GOG.com recently restructured the site along with some stuff about DLC, so maybe it wasn't an option yet when the D:OS pledge management got set up?

Anyways, I'd really like to have the Imperial Edition available on my GOG.com account smile

Short answer:
There was a mistake with the GOG codes for some D:OS backers, and the Larian Vault download was a quick fix while they sorted that out.

You can contact GOG support to get it on your GOG account. From the GOG DC release topic:
Quote
Anyone who backed the Original Sin Kickstarter and claimed his or her copy of Divinity: Dragon Commander on GOG and *didn't* get the Imperial Edition code issued, please contact Support and we will give you a free code for the DLC. In the subject of your ticket, please put, "Imperial Edition Upgrade for Kickstarter Backer".

Okay, thanks for the info! Did a quick forum search on "GOG" etc, but didn't get any results, hence the new topic.

Just contacted GOG.com support, let's hope they'll be as quick in their response as you guys smile

Unfortunately, the forum search ignores 1-3 letter words, but doesn't give an error if that is all you search for (you can use google to search with 'site:larian.com' in the search box, though you loose some of the other options with the forum search that way).
