IT feels like Larian is making me communicate with their servers before letting my games load.
I have a SSD hard drive and almost all other single player game load wicked fast, but this game has loading delays which are on par with games that require verification with a server before it lets the game load.
Either that or the game is so poorly optimized that it is bottle-necking at what to do with the load data. Either way it is a problem that should have been addressed in beta.

How long does it take to load a save? Single player saves do take longer than multiplayer to load because there is more to the game that needs to be loaded. FWIW I have Windows installed on an SSD, but the game installed on a HHD; multiplayer saves load in 2 seconds, while single player take 4.

There is no check with servers before loading saves. The beta only included multiplayer, so if there were any conditions where single player games would load slower than normal they would not have been identified then.

I have noticed slow load times for the first time in single player after the game has started up for the first time, but after that everything loads in barley a few seconds till i close the game and restart. i Guess my point/question is, are the slow loads consistent after first loading something and if so can you give details of your computer specs so we can begin ruling out if its slight compatibility issues with your system. (despite system requirements of games some games preform better with certain Graphics cards from certain manufacturers compared to others of higher grade from a different manufacturer.
