Hi all,

I was wondering if I'm not quite getting something. I read in the manual and I believe during the tutorials that the dragon attack has a cool down. However, I'm pretty sure I can attack with my sabre dragon endlessly, non-stop, forever. Am I just confused?

I'm about to finish the first map in the regular story campaign. Playing on the normal difficulty setting, and absolutely loving it! Haven't been this addicted to a game for a while... (definitely taking my time, turn 22 and I still need to take the continent's stronghold hehe )

Other than the purifying flames, all other attacks should slowly fill a circle around your reticule, which when filled turns red and prevents you from attacking for a short while. That overheat meter goes down at a constant rate at all times.

Unless otherwise specified, just an opinion or simple curiosity.

If you hold the mouse button down to attack it will auto attack at the rate it cools down so you should be able to fire continually forever. If you hammer the mouse button you will quickly overheat and trigger the cooldown.
