I watched his review, even though I already had the game. It's a good and fair review as his generally are - pretty much nails the good (RPG elements - council, general's & wife discussions & choices) & bad (RTS, unit variety, unit graphical look) aspects of the game.
In fact, if you watch his review then go look at some other fair/even reviews, or player review's or TB's early look (which is not a review) you will generally find the same flow in what stands out to people, what is liked and not liked.
As has been said, Joe giving his "Badass Seal of Approval" is a big thing for him, not all games get that - I've seen him give games 9/10 but no BASoA.
