Hi all,

Update 1.0.64 has been uploaded to Steam. Steam will update the game automatically.

The update has also been made available to Vault users. This update installer can also be used by GOG users. It should never ever be used by Steam users.

This update introduces an autopatcher which will make it so that GOG users and Vault users will be notified of future updates.

This auto-update is an optional step and can be skipped.

You will still be able to start up without being online. You will be able to skip the update.

If you don't want the automatic check, just start the game with DragonCommander.exe instead of DCApp.exe

FYI, the autopatcher simply checks an XML online and if the version number of the DragonCommander.exe is lower than the one of the patch, it will offer to download the patch installer. You can then answer yes or no. Answering yes will download the patch installer and start it up.

There is nothing else that happens than checking an XML and downloading an exe. We don't track you or count you. If we did, we wouldn't even know what to do with all that data and no one would even look at it smile

From the Steam Dragon Commander announcements page (also listed in the 1.0.55.0 Preview patch topic):

Update v1.0.64 (additions to v1.0.55 preview patch):

- Black screen or crash when clicking Multiplayer
- Graphine / list.h / tiledtextures crash
- Fix for unloading transports


Divinity: Dragon Commander v1.0.55 contains the following changes:

- RTS follow behaviour improvements
- Kiting RTS AI by drawing units back should no longer be possible
- General Strategymap AI improvements (improved attacks & expanding)
- RTS AI improvements (making attack teams & pathfinding)
- Fixed a crash that happened on return to lobby vs three AI's
- Fixed a team/faction issue that caused instant win or loss when entering RTS combat
- Fixed a crash on next loading screen if client is returned to main menu from battle result (when host disconnects for example)
- Fixed issue with units disappearing after catherine decision (lose 10% of your army)
- Fixed issue with disappearing armies dues to saving between combats in the same turn
- There is now a setting for golden dragon on/off
- There is now a setting for golden jetpack on/off
- Golden dragon/jetpack stay visible after save/load
- Fixed an issue with gamespeed being incorrect after loading of savegame
- Fixed an issue where reserves counted for the entire turn (several battles in same turn had buildup of reserves)




I used the freeware program Hash to create some checksum values for the patch (which installed fine here).

'beta' thread is strictly 'pre release' notes or 'test' notes.

there are no official patch notes in 'announcements', 'general', or 'technical' threads.
