Larian Studios Forums Divinity 2 - Ego Draconis (English) Divinity 2 - Ego Draconis Ego draconis save game location

I I like to backup my save game file just in case of a crash.
I have looked in by Ego Draconis folder but I don't see a "save" or "save games" file or anything similar.
Can anyone direct me to the proper location?
I am playing the game on Windows 7 PC from a disc not the Steam or GOG downloaded version.
I like the game, though it took a while for it to grow on me probably because while at a low level character I was so easily wiped out by swarming stronger bad guys. Had to learn to fight and play the game. Love it now.

In Vista / Win 7 the saves are in the folder

C:\Users\ %username% \AppData\Local\Divinity 2\Savegames


You may need to set Windows Explorer to show hidden files and folders (Win 7).
