Hello arnlof
"i found him, did the axe quest, came back, hes gone....."
He is not far of the place where you found him for the fist time. He is in his house which is the first one at the south of the axe place.

ack, now he thinks the darn axe is stolen again. its outside his house on display, the stupid guy. i already solved that one. its too easy to break quests in this game.

Hm, strange, whom did you give the axe, hopefully the Dwarven King? Kiya

Sometimes the game does not work very good when you have finished a quest. Go back and talk again to the king. I had the same problem with the quest of the hostages.

yes. i totally completed that quest. couldnt find the darn rep becouse he moved so did some of the others. came back when i found where he went. and he is back at the original dialog. i must have screwed up everything doing the fix for the imp quest. maybe i need to restart the char, i'm tired of having to constantly fix stuff.

Arnlof, did you follow Raze's instructions closely to the dot for the fix? Specially the part about replacing your original files after the quest? Kiya
This one? 7) Delete the dialogs.000 file from the 'imp world' folder, and replace it with the backup copy of that file from the 'imp fix' folder, re-naming it back to dialogs.000
If you haven't at that time, you encounter quest problems afterwards.

i sure thought i did. it seemed ok. all my quests still looked good ect after i restored the 000 file. i never should have had to do a fix in the 1st place, in my opinion. seems if you do quests in the wrong order they can cancel others. just seems that way to me. would be nice if it was more clear what to do in what order. no point having the game so open if it ends up causing broken quests.

Hello arnlof Divinity is a great game with a lot of things to discover in it. But there are many bugs. So you have to do a lot of different savegames to be able to replay a part of the game when you have a problem like this one.
Have you talked to the king again ?

[color:"yellow"]council spoiler, click here[/color]Where did you break the quest? I never heard your particular problem before, Arnlof - sounds to me like your data file, the one responsible for quests, is corrupt. Did you encounter the Black map problem? BTW, version 1.34 allows you to reenter the imp world even if you refused - and you only have to give the letter to the Dwarven King, the axe can be brought to Eolus. But not in retrospective. Kiya
