There is a way to open the locked door in the mill actually.
I am in blood Stepp'd in so far, that, should I wade no more, Returning were as tedious as go o'er.

In the miller's storage area, though, once you get into the locked cell with the glowing mushroom and sparkling dirt, there is nothing to do or find there (aside from a couple common plants).

The Miller's storage was a waste of time, as are most of the storage areas. There is nothing that you haven't found 1000 times before.
