O dear, I'm late! Well, it is still July 21st here, so: Happy Belgium Day!!

was, fireworks @ Ostend where awsome. Live band at Celticbar was super, they even played covers of 'hit me baby one more time' not bad, better than the original. And 'Sexy *mothafuka*" much much better than what N.E.R.D. made from it. In the end it was a great 21st July for me.

I'm not sure, but I think we Belgians celebrate more on the 21 th of july? Maybe I don't know much about Belgian history, since I'm more interested in Flemmish history. That celebration was on the 11th of july. Yep Kejero you are right.
The National Day is called Bastille Day because the prison of Bastille which was a symbol of the power of the king, was taken on the 14th of july.
I talked about it in my previous posts at the beginning of the topic.
It is also the National Day for French Guiana, French Polynesia, New Caledonia, Mayotte, Guadeloupe, Martinique, because all these territories are parts of France.
