Does anybody know what the point is for the man who stops you on the bridges trying to sell you property.

If you buy Folo's house, Rose tells you, they are not leaving. Period !!!!

Maybe it's part of an quest that wasn't included ????

If you mindread Willy, you would have found that he is a scam artist. You can get your money back much later in the game.

Have you met him 3 times yet? If you give him gold to build a house he will try for more for permits and building materials, but I don't know if there are any more options if you 'buy' Folo's house and talk to Rose, then meet Willy again... I might have to try that my next game.

Thank You. I was trying to mindread too soon during the cut scene. I remember in Beyond Divinity you could buy a house to kepp all your stuff in Chapter 3 and I thought that was what this was. Sneaky little programmers... Lol

OK... I told him to sell me Folo's house... 500 gold down... now will go talk to Rose, and see what comes up at the next bridge.
