What about the demonic alter ego being the opposite gender of the char? I as a female would have to cope with a male part - the male gamer would have to make friends with his demonic female side?
I don't know about the programming effort for this though - if it would be too large, creating different types of inner dialogues then. The male demonic part would cruel, aggressive, callous etc - the female one more the succubus type (luring, tempting, taunting)? Kiya
Both inner demons would have different stats advantages/disadvantages succubus death knight: Higher charisma? More intelligence, lower con? male demon death knight: strength? Higher con, lower int.?
And the avatar pic would be different then? Succubus/death knight portrait?

Nice idea @kiya. But i don't know IF demons have genders.. Can you seperate them as a female and a male character?
because how do demons reproduce themselves?
(there are probably some books explaining these issius..but i didn't read them : )

Not sure. I think they methods of reproduction is the same as for the humans... Well, at least the legend claims that the first deamons were created by union of Lilith and Adam. I am not sure about the others. Since Lar says there will be deamon children schools, it means there are deamon children. Which means my theory might be true.

Death you theory is nice, but i was just making a joke.
If you can see, demons don't exist, is a creation of human mind, i can't explain more.

Why can creature of good such as Santa Claus exist when creatures of evil are product of human mind? You asked a question, I answered. I know deamons do not exist.

nice comparative theory johnsonn
without good there would be no evil and contrariwise as well!
without dark there would be no light.....

And now, Johnny, when your tongue flaps like butterfly wings, it rains in Japan. Ah, what's better than the Chaos theory?

But it rains only on a certain nose - those butterflies are thankfully not mighty enough to drown the whole country Kiya
Johnson, nevermind, it involves reading a book - specially the Pratchett books, dealing with the chaos butterfly theory

A professor I once had gave a seminar on chaos theory, and had a picture of a butterfly on the opening transparency below the title. Despite it being a graduate studies level seminar, many people were confused about what the butterfly had to do with anything.
chaos theory = extreme dependence on initial conditions. A frequent example is that a butterfly flapping its wings can cause a storm on the other side of the world.

Nobody has ever proven the source of a storm was a butterfly, but weather is chaotic. There are many systems which display chaotic behaviour. Consider a marble balanced on top of a bowling ball; a very small change in a breeze or vibration could result in the marble falling in a completely different direction. What is the chaos theory?CHAOS WITHOUT THE MATHor Google for more details....

Isn't this theory wonderful?! :0) You can be sure that for another 30 years no one could prouve it! And they call it "science" ;0).

They have done tests in Chaos Theory. They created a Weather Prediction program and threw in numbers they thought represented the beginnings of weather on Earth and recorded the results. They did the same test again, but got radically different results. On closer examination, one of the initial variables was out by 0.0001% (or something suitable minute). That tiny change affected everything.
The metaphore with the butterfly represents that 0.0001% difference. If the butterfly didn't flap it's wings, the effects wouldn't have amgnified into a storm.
For those who understand maths, consider the equation: x(n) = x(n-1)^2 ; where x(1) = 1.0001 This is just a simple exponential equation, common in many facets of natural life.
By this, x(20) = 5.86678 x 10^22
Now if x(1) = 1.0002, a difference of less that 0.0001% By this, x(20) = 3.42392 x 10^45
This is a change of roughly 58,631,100,000,000,000,000,000% (58.6 septillion percent), and that's only over 20 steps. How long has the Earth existed for?
Chaos theory basically says that initial starting conditions have a major impact on the final product, and because of how much they affect it, it's almost impossible to predict them. The same reason is why you cannot perfectly reproduce an experiment. That curry you ate for dinner last night is being metabolised and the resulting heat is warming the laboratory another 0.0002°C, changing the starting conditions.

Yeah thats true... DATD is right...where there is evil there's good...so if there's a santa there's a demon...
god/devil
lews/Johnson
There is always a opposite...
Male/Female
Black/white
right/wrong
thats why even if you wished for world peace...impossible...because if there's peace there's war...and no way possible to have world peace...unless everyone and everything died look closely johnson u really are the devil, had to compare urself to me again; I'm way better than ya'! cept in minesweeper

very thought provoking. everything has an exact opposite. what about the opposite is actually a lack of the first thing?
light is light but dark exists because there is a lack of light, so much so that it is dark. evil exists because good is lacking. not so much of opposites, rather a conservation of matters & concepts. yin & yang. cold exists because there is no heat. switch off your light & your monitor in the middle of the night & u will say that it's dark. what about closing your eyes? it's dark as well! if dark is opposite of light, it's quantifiable. meaning, u can measure darkness as much as u can measure light. but u can't. just like cold & heat.
my 2 cents.

From "Interview with the Vampire" by Anne Rice: "People who cease to believe in God or goodness altogether still believe in the devil." Looks like the author agrees with you, janggut .
