I just wondered if this has happened to anyone
else.

I just got the Armor of Larian in 2 of my 3
games (I am playing 3 games back and forth-A
warrior-man, Survivor-man and a lady mage)
and here is what I wondered about.

you could see the armor on the person as
they are walking around in the game when
it was just a silver breastplate but as
soon as you had it changed into the special
armor in the Easter Egg area it was suddenly
invisible.

You look at it in the Equip window and there
it is but looking at the person walking around
in the game and he is bare chested.

The protection is still there from the armor
but you just don't see it.

I even tried a different armor to see if it
would show up and it does.

I tried different resolutions and nothing.

I run this game in Windows 98 and this
shouldn't be a problem for the game.

I tried different setting on the options
menu and that didn't do anything for this
problem.

I also tried to clear out the Dynamic folder
which is the cache for the game thinking that
maybe there was a corrupt file in there but no
dice.

Is this a bug?

I also have downloaded the newest patch.

It really shouldn't bother me but it does because
before it was changed the silver breastplate did
show up on him and it looked really nice.

The same thing is happening with the Dragon shield
because in the equip window it is green with the
symbol of the Dragon on it but when you look at
it as he is walking around he has a blue shield
with white dots on it.

He is really to small on the screen to be able
to make out if the belt or gloves show up or not
but the breastplate is bigger so you can see the
difference.

The Larian armour is invisible on your character; I don't know if that was deliberate or not. Some people like that effect.

It was made that way to somewhat resemble the "Conan the Barbarian" thing and it really only works for a warrior. My other characters look ridiculous with invisible armor and a helmet. It's a fine piece of armor and it works out alright with my warrior.

and all of those big shields look the same, [email]d@mn[/email] nice looking shield!

Hi all,

Well I later found a really nice armor in the Councel of 7 area chest and it was better than Armor of Larian and it did show up so I used it.
Once I got the Dragon Armor together....I first saved the game before I used ID on it until I got what I wanted and it also showed up on my Warrior.
I am really really enjoying this game and I love all of the music.
Keep up the good work you are doing on your games and keep them coming. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
