Well I don't bother, I have a whole range of Beta disks from MSDN here that serve as toasters

LOL no, they only keep on handing me disks in all kind of languages I don't want. Besides the interesting ones in English and Dutch, I get German, French, Spanish, Polish, Hungarian, Romanian, Tsjech, Slovakian, Turkish, Greek, Danish, Swedish, Norwegian and then some I don't remmember.
And there is no way to tel M$ to not send them.

So I end up with a few hundred cd's a year I don't have a clue what to do with them. How many toasters does one need

You could try the earring thing I recently saw in an art show.
Just put a bit of string through the middle and... you have an earring.
They said it's very flashy in a disco.

Never argue with an idiot, he'll just drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.

Have you tried making mobiles or sun catchers? Disks also come in handy for coffee table coasters. IMO @ DAD I have never been a tester, but I also like to run multiple programs, open a bunch of windows, and search the web while playing games. I am just active that way. For the most part, the game that would crash/freak out bad was Diablo 2. Sometimes it was fun just to watch half the screen dissapear or become pixilated or sound bites run in a continus
circle, clipped, etc.. I really didn't have much of a problem with. I would just slow it down, but not crash it. I notice it doesn't like to be alt/tabbed, every now again that would make it freeze! Other than that I have had some fun!

No, not yet, Although my mother makes greeting cards and she also makes some of them with the reflective side of the CD showing. But she only needs a few.
I just hand them to the school of my kids every now and then and they make something creative with them

Did anyone ever try doing this with dual screens? Only your main screen goes into DirectX mode, the other is not. Maybe that would work better with
