Is there going to be a system implemented concerning death, or is it just a case of reloading an old save state?

I always find this method a bit lazy and it, generally, just promotes save scumming. I would rather play the game without worrying about how much time I might waste if I get into a rough situation.

I'd rather the game continued and I had to live with the situation I had created.

Has Larian said anything about the system they plan on using?
Do a lot of people enjoy reloading save states after death?

There are Resurrection Spells and Scrolls in the alpha, which work. The final cost details still have to be worked out, though.

It could certainly be an issue in co-op if one guy gets killed and the other guy needs to spend 20 minutes scrounging up the funds to buy a rez. I guess there's no good way around that, though. Save often, I guess?

The issue isn't about the ease or difficulty of saving.
But thank you for your reply.
