There was a kickstarter exclusive collector's edition. But I don't know if there will be a collector's edition for retail and digital version....

Apparently (didn't watch it myself), during the Friday 13th Dec) livestream they said they were planning to do preorders and collector's editions. But that was over a month ago and I'm not sure how that fits with the early access thing and whatever their current plans are. Maybe they'll still do them, they could offer upgrades for early access peeps to collector's editions for anyone willing to fork out a bit more cash.
Beyond that, I'm pretty sure we don't know yet. You'd think there would be though for such a significant RPG release.

There was a collector edition available during the kickstarter so that's how I reserved mine(+signed) but I have no idea if they plan to manufacture any of those for the main release or later or anything. It is possible you missed out on it completely.

^^ during a previous twitch, Larian said "why not", I know that this question is touchy because some of us pledge via kickstarter and others could not. One interesting idea is what Wolfenstein : the new order did : a collector edition without the game... that can be seen as merchandising but well, I don't mind

The KS edition looks like this: Divinity Original Sin Kickstarter Box: Copy with Printed Manual, Soundtrack CD, Artbook and Cloth Map I really like this plan. ^^ However it would be divine to get something special, a 3d model in pdf or real, or a wood or metal box, or a little something. To be honest I'm so excited because of the beta tomorrow, that I don't really have any ideas for the boxed version yet.

There was a livestream today and this question came up. There is going to be a retail (physical) collector's edition available. All the information should be available soon; they were working on the mockup today and plan to make the details available in the days to come.
I would really like to pick up the CE, but I've already purchased the game on Steam. I may end up having to purchase it twice, but I would prefer to see some sort of upgrade option.

I could not watch the twitch session (but I expect Stabbey to make a topic with a sum up hahahahahahaha) about the collector with the clothmap, well we have already had this one for D2... I will create a new topic to post what would be, in your opinion, the best collector ever, it might gives idea to Larian as they are setting this up...

Hopefully the Twitch beta Q&A will show up on Youtube soon. I can watch live streams on Twitch just fine, but for some reason I get severe start-and-stop buffer issues when watching saved recordings on Twitch (which makes these videos a real pita to watch).
As far as what I'd like to see in a CE.. a healthy amount of in-game items (like those that came with the kickstarter campaign) and tangible items like maps, music CDs, artbooks, etc. No statues, please. Every developer seems to want to stick a statue in their Collector's Edition and then jacks the price up an extra $75. I'm not sure where they think players are sitting all these statues; all of mine are still packed away in their respective CE boxes.
