Larian Studios Forums Divinity - Original Sin Divinity - Original Sin - General Weapon types?

I have the game but I have only played for like 15 minutes. I was wondering what weapon types there are. any any game my favourite weapon style is Spear and shield...but in almost all games with spears I am left with using a spear two handed and no shield. so I hope that is at least possible.

I assume they have all the typical. 1 handed swords, Great swords. axes, daggers, bows, maces.

But what about crossbows? Polearms? Kama and Cesteus for a monk like experiance?

Spears are in (2 handed), as are crossbows, scythes, polearms, staves, cudgels, clubs, hammers and the usual ones you mentioned (not a complete list). I have not seen a Kama; when unarmed combat gets added back in a cestus type 'weapon' would be nice to have.
