How did you go early on in the game Engineer? I mean when your character was pretty weak using two handed swords?

I found that it was slightly difficult early on and I had to choose early on which areas i ventured into before my character toughened up.(mainly because i died a few times he he he he )

That is not dead which can eternal lie. Yet with strange aeons even death may die.

@Engineer
Later on in the game you get so strong that it doesn't matter anymore.
You can easely beat them up fast enough with a one handed sword too. + that with good armour and shield (and the defense [ + damage] skill) you don't even need potions any longer. Just repair your stuff every now and then.
Everyone uses the two handed swords... I wanted something differend. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

Oi! Stereotype bads! I don't use two-handed weapons. I'm a firm believer in the shield (or ambidexterity where available).

Maybe I should re-start and play on hard. These weapons make the game look too easy. So far only the bosses and quest monsters have been any challenge, and then too much of a challenge at times, that I'm afraid "hard" would be too much

Here's my piece of metal, that i carried right until the end:

Blade of Chaos
Durability 14
Charm quality 2
Damage 108-153
+10 to strength (with charm)
+10 to constitution (with charm)
+80 to vitality
+20 to magic
Life Drain 4

The only thing that caused me few problems was its low durability, but right until the end i was killing almost everything in 1-2 hits.
This game is too easy... only that crazy witch that is casting hell spikes like there's no tommorow had me looking for tactics to beat her.
