cant kill it. every time its hp get close to death it just laughs and says you cant kill death or some such. cant recall exactly. dont want to spoil this for anyone but what do i do? if i just walk away it says its getting stronger ect so how do i kill it? or do i? it apeared when i pulled the sword from the stone

You can't kill it.
You just have to put the sword in the stone again.

u have to kill it, then put the sword in, just save before u put it in, or do the quicksave, quickload trick.

darn, i wanted to id the darn sword. it was id level 5. must be awesome. no way i can keep it?

Arnlof, you can solve ALL Dark Forests quests first - and then have a go at the sword <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" /> - after all: you're moving on, right?
