I have some question about skills and spells.

About skills :

- They are capped at 5 now (like water Magic)
- Is it just for alpha ?
- Why can't we reach a higher value with the social skills (renegade wich gives fire magic +1)?
- What does Sourcery do ? Is it working actually ?
- Telekinesis, a tree for ONE spell ? (maybe i missed others?)

About spells :

- Are all game spells actually in alpha ? I hope not, or you do have to upgrade the level required to get them, not logic to have Grand Master spells at lvl 6
- I didn't find any Rogue fighting skill, i missed them ?
- Will there be others Archer skills, actually only two for fight

They haven't decided what to do about the ability caps. The recent Kickstarter update said that they'd have to look at those and figure out what to do.


The Traits only give +1 and stop because they're placeholder traits to test the system, an overhaul of the Traits is coming.

Sourcery does nothing in the alpha. I'm pretty sure that it's not going to be usable until a certain point in the main plot, after which it'll be another school of magic, and points will be required to learn it's spells. Eventually, you should be prevented from investing points until that time.


Telekinesis is not a spell, it's an always-on ability that lets you reach items. the more your skill, the farther and heavier items you can reach.


No way are all spells in the alpha, I'm sure a lot are being held back. No rogue skills yet, but with a dagger you can backstab. More archery skills will probably be added as well.

Sourcery isn't implemented yet.

Also, there is a vendor in Cyreal square that sells skills for Rogue and Survivor characters.

Sort-of, in that Blackrock also sounds like a special ability that's not going to be useful until you reach a certain point or unlock a certain quest or merchant who sells those items.
