The way the characters "walk" if the mouse cursor is within a certain range of their position, and only run if the cursor is beyond a certain distance creates a frustrating and difficult to control movement system. There is no time when you would want your character to only walk.
I suggest making the character run always toward the cursor position when the left mouse button is pressed (like all other isometric ARPGs). It's a much smoother, natural system, and makes it easier to direct the action. As it is now, I'm fighting with the game to get my character to where I want it to be.
