spent hours getting the right dragon breastplate from the guy, then i go down to get the gem installed. big dissapointment! he keeps the breastplate he gets from me and makes a inferior copy with the gem on it. bah.. they need to fix that so stats are added, not taken away. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cry.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cry.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cry.gif" alt="" />

That's why you should save before identifying something big. Try to reload and identify again. The stats are random. Once I got a gemmed dragon breast plate which was twice inferior to the original dragon plate <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" />.

You can buy back the original armour, and just use the 'upgraded' breastplate to complete the dragon armour set (for the skill + experience).

thats exactly what i'm talking about. guess i should have not bothered being picky at sir patrick or whatever the guys name was i got it from. its the darn armorer that you need to be picky at. makes no sense to me. hes suposed to be the ultimate blacksmith but he gives back junk when given good stuff to work with. i gues that means you cant trust a dwarf. should have let the elves wipe em out. sigh...... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/disagree.gif" alt="" />
