Steps to reproduce:
1. Join a friend's new game (character creation)
2. Disconnect happens (lost Internet connection in my case)
3. Rejoin same friend
4. Character creation does not work anymore. (the same camera angle, but the creation menus are not visible)
5. You can now move around in the starting room and loot stuff.
6. Even worse, I tried attacking my friend to see what happens when he dies in character creation. The first arrow missed him and it didn't do anything, but the second one hit him and crashed both our games.
Sure, I forced this crash by doing something that shouldn't be allowed, but I still managed to make it happen.
