sorry for any bad English as it is not my first language.

just my personal opinion so don't let it got into your head if it is not how you like to play the game.

when i was first playing the game, i had set myself an image of how the my male+female character will be.

judging from they are likely to be raised in an order, which are brainwashed to have only one purpose and it is to rid the earth of evil magic, they should develop some kind of "Medieval Nobel" characteristic such as arrogant and treat the towns folk like peasants (like how the legionnaire talks about cyseal and its people)

however apart from the optional bridge fight in the beginning and lure the beggar to steal and let it get caught by legion, i don't feel much of opportunities to role play my character.
most of the time i am only given with 2 choice which is ok and not ok, but there should be more option like showing my detest to the fish stinking cyseal townfolk, or showing my detest to the muscle thinking legionnaire.

i hope i will get the chance to play something more than a classic good or classic evil character.

from the loading screen it gave me an impression of a spoiled princess accompanied by a over-protecting and honest guard.

p.s. i left the man to die outside of the city by not escorting him back but didn't feel satisfied as he didn't hate me that much for some reason.

I for one think Larian needs to recruit some trolls from around the internet and write some truly nasty dialog options. As a certified asshole, I offer my assistance in this matter.

I'm having the opposite problem.

A friend and I play this game together and actually find ourselves choosing statements we really didn't want to say because the alternative comment sounds so incredibly harsh, particularly when speaking to henchman.

Madora, for example, will go off on one of her source-magic suspicion rants and our choices feel like:

a) "I'm with you, Madora. That individual is tainted with foul source magic, to be sure!"

b) "OMG how are you even still in our party? Just die in a fire already."

Uh.. option "a", I guess.

I'd rather have a more neutral or dismissive answer, indeed. Like Gyson is suggesting, I don't want to be super buddy buddy for life with the party, but I don't want to be unkind either. Something to the effect of "Yeah, thanks. Glad to be part of the party." or something equally non-committal.

Neutrality is the way!
