Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) Help/Tips/Tricks Holy Sword, good or Not

I just got a holy sword which has the following stats:

Dam: 68-113, +2 Strength, some other crappy stats AND Poison(3), Fire(4) and Life Drain(4).

I just saved before i got the sword, so giong to reload a few more times so if I can get a freeze stat included in the sword.

i have a sowrd with same dmg but much better stats. I did´nt use it since i got the dragon set complete, cause the shield is much more usefull then a sowrd with more dmg.

keep anything with freeze and decent damage....that is my advice

I've found the Nobleman's Sword, being a one handed weapon much better once you have the Dragon Armor. That being said, I'll second Nero's advice. Keep any sword with decent damage and frost, though I've found life drain to be pretty useful too.

Is Frost the same as the spell Freeze because I have found a few swords that had Frost, but not freeze?

It has the same effect, but I've found that a weapon with frost will affect a creature that my freeze spell just bouncis off of.

My advice would be to get the amulet instead. The Holy Sword is almost never better than the Sword Of The Gods, which you will get later in the game. The Holy Amulet is the best Amulet in the game unless you get very unlucky (Which reloading can of course correct <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />)

keep any sword with mana or lifedrain on it cause with tuffer enemies those spells can become very useful
