Thanks for the ebay link, but I don't think I'll buy it because I've had trouble before buying in the US and trying to import in Europe/Belgium. Therefore I'll need to pay a sh*tload on taxes I guess...
I checked ebay in my country but couldn't find any Wizardry matches except the original version - Wizardry I! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

Guess I'll have to keep on searching...

I checked eBay for Wizardry. They're cheaper than I thought, I expected them sell for $25, I mean those games are rare.
As for cheats, look on GameFAQs. There are some guides too.
Have fun <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wave.gif" alt="" />

Last time I saw Wizardry 8 was in "Het Computerwinkeltje" but they don't have it there anymore it seems. Last time I saw it, it also costed a good €75 (!!!). Never saw a game that expensive (for pc anyway).

Did you try calling Game Mania btw? they sometimes have second hand games, you might be able to find Wizardry 8 that way. Unless you tried that already heh.

I also tried www.proxis.be but can't find it anywhere online.
Didn't call GameMania yet, there's a GM store right next to our house (Let's say a few roads ahead) but they usually have second hand crap. I check often if there's something of any intrest but can't really find anything.

And indeed, I found Wizardry 8 on the internet (Don't know anymore where) - they wanted to sell the game for $50 (second hand)! That's VERY expensive... Whow who wants to give 75EUR to this game? I mean it's more than a year old - I'd want to give 45EUR max...

I agree. Maybe they meant the US version, in contrast to the European version ?

By the way, how do I get into the mine Tunnels ? Some T'rang trap keps me from invading those tunnels ...

I am not that far yet, but I believe you can access the mine tunnels trough the swamp and not troughout Marten's Bluff. If no-one lets you pass you should try to find another way in.

Mine tunnels walktrough:

North-east in the swamp, there's some water. You will be thinking it's a dead-end but go into the water and the gaint frog will be there.

By the way, if you can't find Bekek and you want your party member back, kill Crock. (shop first <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />) and go upstairs. Your party member is there. If you want max xp kill berek, give the leg to crock and then kill him <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

Ah ! I know this "pool". I have let the party camp there. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

It's very quiet there, without anjy monsters - and with "detect secrets you can even find some stuff (at least I did) <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

Ah Wizardry, the series that intoduced me to RPG's

I will say now that I love this series, I have all 8 games and I follow the stories intensly, I started Wizardry 8 with my Wiz 6 characters so I knew all the main details of the very open ended story (your actions and how you beat one game affects the beginning and sveral elements in the next) and I was surprised by some of the plot twists involving the Dark Savant.

Oh, for those who found battles long did you try the continous combat option? That speeds things up a little.

I would also like to add that Wizardry IV is considered the hardest RPG ever made.

I don't think I could get the whole series here in Germany nowadays - second-hand, maybe.

And I don't "use" Ebay - I consider this somehow too unsafe (maybe prejudice, I know <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" /> ).

I rather go into a shop and deal with the "merchant" <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" /> eye-to-eye - that's far more personal and safer, imho. And what's more, you can always come back and complain. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

I have just begun with Wiz8 and I like it - almost love it. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" /> It's kind of strange getting into a series at one point, but I think it goes.
