I went to the Warrior's guild AFTER I'd already cleared out the Imps castle - I have the Imp scroll and everything, but when I was there - the dragon rider escaped. I went back after they requested the heart of the dragon - and I've played the game before, so I've done this quest before - but when i went back to see if 1.) i left it behind on accident or 2.) if re-entering could trigger that [nocando] to come back - nothing happened. I saw him the last time I was there - he sent some of his buddies after me - but I cleared out the whole thing and double checked it and he's gone. Have I spoiled this quest??

Thanks.

Just to make sure...maybe check your inventory...maybe you picked it up by accident? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" /> You never know...

just go into the dungeon. look at your minimap for an red dot.
if you want to find him quick.
you could use the savedgame editor. here you can put some extra skillpoints in elven sight too find the dragonrider easier.
after you found him you can put these skill point off again!

Actually, he is suppose to run away the first time he sees you (in the room with the skeleton of a dragon). The others attack, while he brings the dragon gem to the treasure room east of there.

this is the imp castle = you've moved the lever at the dragon skelett and then went east?

Yeah - I knew he'd run from me the first time, and I'd find him further in that level. I know that I started out in a room - went through the tunnels and ended up at the other end in another room. I looked at your map, Kiya, and that's what mine looks like - and I've got nothing! I have an earlier saved game, so I'll probably just load that one and play from there...thanks for your help!

It's strange what you described here - some gamers didn't find the dragon heart, specially those using polymorph or killing the rider in a bad position (near the walls) - but vanished???

Did you have crashes? black maps? Anything unusual?

Yeah I had a couple of crashes and black maps, but I reloaded an older game and started from there. I went into the SAME ROOM I'd been in 3 times, and after reloading, it triggered the cutscene I needed to fight the dragonrider. Thanks for all your help!!

Hi Kiya, I also played this game before had no problems but this time I used polymorph. I cant remember how I killed him last time but this time I cant find the heart. By using polymorph do you break the Quest? I all ready got the second test quest.I dont know enough about how to use the item finder, I know it not called that but its the best I can do. Thanks in advance.

Did you defeat him near a wall? if the dragon heart was dropped by a southern wall or behind a pillar, etc. the alt key would not show it, though running your mouse over the area would. Do you have a recent save you can re-load? If not, and you can not find it;

<img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/up.gif" alt="" /> Well what do you know I went back to the game and found I didn't save after I killed him so I killed him again & found the heart right away. Thanks again Raze. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/up.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />
