Hi, just installed the game/patch and I've only been playing for a little while. I'm 46 and was looking for something different, aside from all the FPS, I've been playing. Diablo 2/LOD is my favourite game, so I am hoping I get enjoyment from this one. It appears from the posts and from the little time I have spent in the actual game that it will be a lot of fun.
I bought a used copy of the game, (no new one available), so I didn't get a manual unfortunately, but I will try not to ask too many stupid questions. (I looked for a copy of the manual on the CD's but couldn't find one, did I miss it?)

Hello and welcome!
You know, you didn't miss anything important in the manual. Feel free to ask any questions as most of the forumgoers here are friendly (in fact without me the forum would've been perfect). I am sure you'll find if not better than Diablo, then at least as good.

Carrie's link just has the story pdf, so...
If you figured out how to trade, assign stat/skill points etc. there is not a great deal more in the manual. There is a description of the special move and all the skills (though no specifics).

The Locus Inn - Skill System (individual paths, and a skill table for each class)

RPG Vault - Divine Divinity Skills XI (links to other skill sets at bottom of page)

You may also want to check out

Early Starting Tips and differences between classes (minor spoilers)

or Early Starter Tips (NON-Spoiler Version) (contains much of the information in the above two topics.

If that is not enough, check out the sticky topics in the Help/Tips/Tricks forum.

From the manual;

You should find much better than Diablo and get many hours of game play from it. This is the best place to ask questions, approx 98% of the time there is a reply from someone within minutes, at least I fins it that way.
Welcome to the forum and enjoy.

Great work, Raze, perhaps you could put this particular posting into one of the "help" threads ?

The only part not already in the help sticky topics is the keyboard shortcuts, and that doesn't really fit anywhere. I considered replying to the 'early starting tips' post or Taaru's Tutorial-Changing F1-F12 hotkeys to different keys, but didn't.
I wasn't ignoring your suggestion Alrik, just couldn't find an appropriate place for it.
