I have some interesting items. One is an amulet with no magical abilites at all, but it has a special name, like it's someones. The other is a dagger, that agains is someones, that I found in the town watch in the city. (sorry I can't be more specific, I'm at work and I don't remember the names). Is there anything special about these two items (if you know which ones I mean)
My other question is that I started as a warrior, with 10 Int. I havn't added any, but I am now a warrior with 9 Int. I'm almost wondering if that dagger I have lowers Int by 1 or something.

Your dagger is probably Penumbra's dagger, keep it, it's part of a quest.

this one?

The amulet: Does it have the initials C.B. on it and was near a skeleton in the Rivertown East area? Sell it, just an easteregg (a joke, referring to Drizzt's best friend C.B. Drizzt was a drow elf in Salvatore's fantasy books, maybe you know this name from the Baldur's Gate series?)

An item can only lower/raise something if it has stats. So, I'd check if you have a cursed item in your equipment, for instance a ring?

Talk about quick responses <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
That would be the dagger. I'll make sure I keep it then. I do have that amulet, but that's not the one I'm thinking of. I'll get the name later and post it.
I'll have to check my rings. I thought I did, but maybe I missed somehting.
I'm also not completely new, I've been around before, I think as Rithe, but either my name got deleted, or the forums changed, not sure which. Can't wait for <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/riftrunner.gif" alt="" /> though, that one should be fun, especially if it's anything like <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/div.gif" alt="" /> (the correct name in my opinion <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />)

Hm, what about Mardek's amulet from the Cursed Abbey? But this one has abilities.

I recall your name from the old forum, IIRC <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Good guess, Jurak. That could be the necklace. I was thinking the divine amulet, but that's too well-labeled to cause confusion.

As for the stat loss, I'm guessing either the vampire in the dark cave, or the shrine of good and evil are responsible for the stat loss.

Ok, turns out it's Mardek's amulet, but it doesn't seem to have any abilities at all.
I still havn't figured out why I lost Int. I did fight the 2 vampires, and it wasn't the shrine of good/evil because I know I got 5 Agi for that one.
I do have a new question after playing all weekend. What is the purple potion? Can you do something with it if you have alchemy? I got to the wasteland, and saw that there are red and yellow potions also. What are they for?

Hm, did you lose your 1 int pt before you fought the vampire in the cave?

I guess it's possible. I didn't know that could happen though. Oh well, I'm a warrior, and don't need the Int as much anyway. It was just strange in my mind.

I only ever put one point into intelligence for my warrior, to replace the one stolen by the vampire when I sacrificed myself to save the boy (I also lost 1 strength and 1 agility point). The '9' just didn't look good.
