I finished this game as a female warrior, last eve, mainly because of all the assistance found in this forum, and wonderful Lynne! The ending movie is terrific, truly terrific. I wore dragon set, as good stats as i could get, madric?amulet, vampire boots, good rings with charms, and as many gold charms as i could set, and i do mean set, the wastleland in the best place to find them, and i had a frost holy sword and sword of the gods(which i used for ending the game) these swords were as good statistically as i could get them.(made a few booboos while making them) but a totally fun time. now I'm going to try as a female survivor, but haven't a clue how she plays or wears or fights. any suggestions?Plz?

thx Kyra--- read all the sites u said, and copied so i can study at my leisure.I am alternating my gaming time between dd and d2, so i have a variety of chars to play. Have been a d2 player for over 2 years or if u will, before expansion. i needed something else to play, because d2 can get quite laggy. my problem with dd is frequent lockups, and having to do reloads, and yes, without Lynne, this dd would be permanently on the shelf. I get quite long-winded , as u can tell.

If 2 has an online element are you telling me it will be like a mini-mmorpg like Neverwinter Nights or Diablo II? I'm not sure what to think about this. One of the main things I like about is it's faithfullness to the RPG style from days of yorn, when I was a kid. I see it as a sinlge player game. Can 2 really be as good as the current next-gen mmorpg's? I really hope that they focus heavily on the single player side and don't concentrate souley on the online bit. I get the feeling that I will be playing worlds of warcraft over the 2 online bit. That said I am definetly going to buy 2 because of the 1:Player bit. (Plus I'll check the online bit aswell.. HeHe. )
