Hello, got this game from Steam today and love it.. brings back that old world RPG game feel that I missed for so many years.

After 11 hours straight (i'm just heading out of the north gate now) a few things stuck out that could reduce player frustration. At least it would for me.

1. Can we get a check mark that allows prompt to confirm a quick load? (I find myself quick-loading quite often and now my muscle memory hits f8 even when i want to hit f5.. so i reload last quick-save instead of actually quick-saving. At least with the check mark idiots like us can turn and on and people who don't have that issue can leave it as is.

2. The combat text window. Can we get a check to allow it to lock? And once locked when you click there you click on the world instead? Seems like no matter where i move that window, it's always in the way when I try to move..

3. In trade window, allow us to switch characters and move their inventory item to the trade window. It's a bit frustrating exiting all the way out of chat and pick a different character and then trade that one or two items in their inventory.

4. Can we get a sort button in our inventory? Just to group same items next to each other for selling.. I seem to be scrolling up and down alot to find that 2nd and 3rd cooking pot or pitchfork to sell and of course I miss it and have to try to sell it again.

5. Quest tracker planned? If so can it be a check mark or option that can be toggled? I like the how a lot of quests i had to figure out and find myself but a few are frustrating because there isn't enough information to even guess what to do next.

6. this is a weird one but to me it seems like the movement is very slow, even when your running with the cursor at the edge of the screen. Is this just me? Any way to speed up the movement either with a skill or the graphics in general?

7. Pressing M brings up the map, but can we set it so when we press M again it removes the map? Fingers usually on M to take a quick peek and it would be easier to just toggle back and forth.

8. Can we get a key ring to hold all the keys? Or have it so they vanish after being used? I seem to have started a nice collection of them so far.

Thanks

Welcome Wilson33 - the inventory sort button is a very popular request around here; I've already added it to the "UI Wishlist" thread. Check it out and see if there's anything else you'd like to add.

Agree with almost all of them bar...

5.
No, just no. No questmarkers of any kind. That's Larians desire too. They are a plague in the modern RPG like Skyrim, where quests are just 'go there' and then you're supposed to follow a stupid marker. Here you need to think and listen.
If you however got stuck do mention it here, and we might help you spot something you miss, or if it's indeed unclear, allow Larian to fix it for future players.
But no, no questmarkers. Old RPG feeling undone with just one feature, bad, bad!

Also, seemingly the only person who has no issue with the movement speed. Guess I am just used to it being regular rather than fast-pased superrun of modern games. Or holding mouse buttons has an issue? What method *do* you use to walk around?

8. A key can be attached to more than one door, so making it vanish on use would be very bad. Keyring is a popular suggestion though.

Yep, 7. and 8. are also in the UI list thread - here's hoping these get added to a new version of the beta.
