Am playing through the beta with same partner i played alpha with and we are both extremely disappointed with how abysmally easy combat has gotten. please put the fights back the way they were.

We've kind of developed a pattern for early game where we loot the town and then head out through the graveyard to well exit and clear the entire left side of town. It used to be challenging. granted we ditched companions in favor of 2-man-ing it to up the difficulty, but still, it was a challenge. The lighthouse in particular was difficult.

Now at the same point, same level, more or less same gear point in the game, we are both pretty much one-shotting every enemy we touch. our damage output doesn't appear to have gone up, it seems like enemies just have a fraction of the health they used to have.

Please put the difficulty back, this is way too cakewalk and just not much fun now.

Are you a few levels above your opponents at this stage? Even being one or two levels above or below your opponent can make a significant difference in this game.

Like I said, playing through in the same order/route taken in alpha and the fights are just a joke now. I'm telling you they got nerfed.

Are you or your partner using Arrow Spray or something like that ?Did either of you took Lone Wolf and/or Raistlin ? Maybe it's just a matter of overpowered skills or talents.

I myself have been under the impression the overall damage output of our characters had gone up, to the point were we absolutely didn't need to use the environment tricks like water+electricty to stun whole groups anymore. I also feel we've got some ways to get a LOT of AP per turn, which gives more attacks per turn.

They really need to add "level requirements" back or skills to be required to wield an armour or weapons. I have been suggesting that in the start of the game you can find a sword (Scimitar) that only needs 8 Strength and it can kill Level 1-3 enemy's within 2-4 shots which is not challenging at all. The Scimitar should be used when the character is Level 4 or one-handed skill to have 2 or 3 like it was before.

As Dr Koin has mentioned their are some skills and talents that are very OP.

Remember the game is not balanced yet and hopefully they find a way to balanced it.

I'm pretty sure they've nerfed the undead mages that are everyone since alpha. Originally I remember them using some tough spells against me like fireball and charm. Now the worst I see is the occasional ice shard between using single target buffs on allies. I liked fearing the spellcasters, hope they make them strong again before release.

All spellcasters are bugged in the beta, and a non-issue (since they can't do harm on your team).
Obviously, that'll be fixed.
