The quests..ahh the quests. I don't mind having a little mystery with quests. I grew up on figuring things out, but my God! The quest system is a mess. I would love a little bit of a push in the right direction. It mentions names in the journal, but other than that you're on your own for the most part. Mostly, i don't like talking to a NPC involved with the quest and receiving no update.
Just a little clarity is all.
As far as the combat is concerned, i like it, I don't agree with having to build a bigger team in order to progress, i would honestly love a 2 man team being able to wipe out any group of enemies.

In general, if you are asked to meet someone somewhere, it should be marked on your map. It wasn't really intended to provide hints, or necessarily include everything mentioned during dialogs, etc.

In character creation (or once you reach level 3 and get a talent point) you can have one or both characters take the Lone Wolf talent, for an 80% vitality boost, AP boosts and an extra ability point when levelling). The downside is you can not recruit a companion for each main character that takes this talent), but if you don't want a larger party, anyway, that isn't a problem.
The Raistlin talent goes good with Lone Wold, as well (doubles AP recovery, but halves your base HP); you get more AP to use in combat, and your health still gets a net bonus.

I think I am finished with the Beta. I am in no way as dedicated as most of you here so the bugs and such I come across I tend to ignore as I believe they've already been found out. That coupled with not wanting to ruin the actual play-through I will just return to this game in a couple of months when hopefully it is complete. Besides, I'm not one to complain about tiny things in a small section of a game still in development. Games are like albums for me. You need to get through it all before you can say you understand what they were going for and any shortcomings. This game needs to be its own game. Not some already made classic.

Catch you lot later.
