Hey Guys

I have this problem since the alpha. And none of the updates or fixes made it go away.

Everytime I'm entering the Black Cove to fight the Pirate the game crashes. I have defeated him several times but i can not save without having a crash.

Since the beta i have the crash also after i found the stone in the fire area.
What can i do?
I don't wanna start all over again.
Please help me save my game frown

I'm not sure how to get the game to save properly on your system, but I'll try literally helping you save your game. Email me (raze@larian.com) a save (or post/PM a download link) before entering the Black Cove (or before finding the star stone), and I'll try it and see if I can save. Even if it works here, you may still get a crash either loading or re-saving there, but it's worth a shot.

I will not be up much longer tonight, though...

The save folders are in the '..\Documents\Larian Studios\Divinity Original Sin\Savegames' folder. In Windows Explorer right click a folder and select 'Send To | Compressed Folder' to zip it.

Sounds very similar to an issue I am having. After revisiting the cove with that fellas head its impossible to save the game without it crashing. I'm playing exclusively coop in this game which I've found somewhat more unstable than single player.

I have also hit a second crash point like above where after defeating that big fire daemon and getting hit by the stone, when I transport to the hall of time it's no longer possible to save without crashing.

If you email me I can reproduce the faults pretty easily(I have also submitted bug reports after the crashes)

Kaya86;
Unfortunately, your save crashes for me, also.

The bug report tool includes your saves (same as the report.zip file generated by the D:OS support tool), so support would already have them.
