Hello,
I wanted to talk about something that to me is an error.
I tested my debuff constitution arrow on my warrior.
Let's say he has 360/360 life. Numbers are wrong but the principle here written is "good".
i hit him with the arrow, and he ends up with say 320/260 life.
It means he took the 40 damage, but he has like a temporary hit point buff untill he gains back his constitution. You still have to deal all the damage to kill him like he was not poisoned.
then debuff ends, the character has 320 HP / 360 HP. Like nothing happened about the debuff.
To me, that's NOT what should happen.
In my logic, it's rather :
the warrior starts with 360 life, gets hit, new max HP 260, then damage applied, he gets 220 Life. That is completely different, and it's very important, otherwise the debuff had not interest.
Then i would see the resulting final hit points after debuff ends, i'd say a rule of three, giving 220*360/260 = 304 HP
(He had X% from life total, ands up with X% new life total)
In simple terms, i disagree to the fact that a debuff constitution arrow makes the target keep all his life except the regular damage. His life should decrease from both constitution loss (poison) and physical damage, and damage taken under poison should be kept afterwards in the same proportions. Otherwise there is no interest in this arrow.
What do you think of it ?
